The Punk scene in NYC is probably one of the most diverse Punk scene in the world. With so many bands that are either homegrown or bands that comes to New York and make it there. Like they say Make it in New York, You can make it anywhere.
There are a dozens active punk bands that are constanly shaking up the scene in New York names like World War IX, Hymen Holocaust, Yo! Scunt, and No Place to Piss. Some of the best bars and punk Venues be putting put shows after shows everything to cater the hardcore punk fan.
There’s Manitoba’s at 99 avenue, Mars Bars at East 1st street, Double Down Saloon located at 14th avenue, Otto’s shrunken head, Pyramid Club and ABC no Rio.
